Teaching Artists

Junior Players contracts individual instructors in a variety of art forms including theater, visual art, music, dance, photography, and journalism for its in-school, after school, and summer programs. Junior Players provides programs for all grade levels K through 12 and all Junior Players programs are based off of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) tenets and are integrated with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) objectives for grades K-12, including110) English Language Arts and Reading, 113) Social Studies, 116)Physical Education and 117) Art, Music and Theatre. All instructors must pass a criminal background check before they are assigned to a program site.

Production Team Members

Junior Players is always looking for professional local artists to add to our roster for consideration for our annual productions. Junior Players' annual productions are all cast entirely of High School students and include a musical, a dance production, a summer Shakespeare production, a fashion show, and a collection of staged readings. If you are a director, choreographer, stage manager, music director, technical director, lighting designer, sound designer, or scenic designer and you would like to be considered to join one of our production teams as a contract employee, please email your resume to Events and Productions Manager, Jeremy Saxton, at events@juniorplayers.org.
