LAST CALL FOR AUDITIONS FOR A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM!
Junior Players is excited to bring A Midsummer Night's Dream to Dallas this summer! In A Midsummer Night's Dream, romantic entanglements, and magical chaos ensue when fairies, lovers, and a group of amateur actors converge in the woods outside Athens. Auditions are open to all current High School students and participation is completely FREE!
All students who submit an audition for A Midsummer Night's Dream can also select to be considered for our festival of staged readings, PUP Fest 2025, via your audition form!
Junior Players will be hosting one last round of auditions from 10 am to 11 am on Saturday, May 24, 2025 from 10 am to 11 am at East Dallas Christian Church (629 N Peak Street, Dallas, TX 75246). Students who audition on Saturday may be asked to stay for callbacks, which take place from 11 am to 3 pm.
Please come prepared with a 1-minute comedic Shakespearean monologue and a 1-minute contemporary monologue.
Rehearsals for A Midsummer Night's Dream will take place at East Dallas Christian Church Monday through Friday, 1 pm - 5 pm, from June 9, 2025 through July 23, 2025. Performances will take place Tuesday, July 29, 2025 through Sunday, August 3, 2025 at Theatre Three (2688 Laclede St, Dallas, TX 75201).
