Event Calendar

As part of Junior Players' 60th Anniversary, we are producing a new dance production initiative entitled Junior Players Presents: The Transformation Project. This production will pair two choreographers with fifteen to twenty of North Texas' most talented and well deserving high school dancers. The theme of the performance will center around the Junior Players tagline: "transforming kids' lives through the arts." The teen dancers will come together to discuss some of the most challenging issues facing both themselves and their peers, and how the arts have given them an outlet to deal with those challenges. The choreographers will then partner with the students to set their ideas to music and dance in order to create an hour long dance performance to be presented at the Studio Theatre in the Wyly Theatre in the Dallas Arts District.
