Journey into the enchanting world of fairy tales as they collide in the Tony Award-winning production Into the Woods, featuring book by Pulitzer Prize winner James Lapine and music and lyrics by legendary musical theatre composer Stephen Sondheim.

This fan favorite follows all of your favorite characters – Cinderella, Little Red Riding, Jack (and his beanstalk, of course), the Witch – as well as a young Baker and his wife as they venture into the mysterious woods to fulfill their deepest wishes. As their quests unfold, they find themselves having to face the complexities of wishing as desires intertwine, consequences unfold, and the responsibility of storytelling winds up changed forever. After all, the further you venture into the woods, the harder it is to return,

Join us for this lyrically rich retelling of classic Brothers Grimm fables but always keep in mind as you root for your favorite to be careful what you wish for…

This production is directed by Jeremy Landon Hays and features Music Direction by Bryce Biffle.

Into the Woods has been assigned a rating of PG-13 by MTI (Musical Theatre International).  It is worth noting that the characters and stories that are familiar to most audiences through Disney productions, will not be represented in this version.  The musical focuses on the original Brothers Grimm versions of the stories which tend to be “darker” and less “happy ending” focused. Patrons are recommended to review the show description and decide their own personal comfort level before purchasing tickets for those under 10.
