This Spring, Junior Players is bringing our Broadcast Journalism and Dance Residency classes to Dallas Children's Theater as a part of a new partnership!
Broadcast Journalism - Grades 9-12
Students will focus on the importance of storytelling in digital media and broadcasting to help them channel challenging concepts into a form of creative expression. Students will produce digital news stories, learn journalism, videography, editing, and storytelling to amplify their voices. Dance Residency: Grades 6-8
Students will reflect on personal and community issues through guided discussion and co-create original choreographed performances with professional choreographers. Taught by: Jazmine Hampton, Choreographer and Instructor at American Dance
