Phillip Slay is from McKinney, Texas and is a recent graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with his BA in Arts and Performance, with a concentration in theatre. He grew up in the theatre, mostly acting and singing in musicals, though his love for all theatre knows no bounds! Previous acting credits include Little Shop of Horrors and The Fantasticks at Repertory Company Theatre, Calendar Girls at Grand Prairie Arts Council, Mary Poppins at Family Music Theater and Les Miserables, In The Heights, Cabaret, A Merry Jewish Christmas and A View from the Bridge at Collin Theatre Center. He has also studied abroad in London and taken courses through Shakespeare's Globe Theatre. When he's not working, you can generally find him supporting friends and colleagues at local theatre productions or thinking of new ways to bring the arts to our amazing Junior Players students.
