- Moving Words Literacy Camps- Creative Writing for Teens! Moving Words Literacy Camps are one hour camps for 13 - 19 year olds, taught by local writers who will assist teens in the art of creative writing. Teens will develop or enhance their ability to express thoughts, feelings and emotions through the written word. There will be will be 2-3 camps per month hosted by libraries throughout Dallas until February 2010. Each one hour camp will focus on one of the following: writing creative fiction, poetry or play writing.
The Moving Words Literacy Camp program is being presented by the Dallas Public Libraries and Thriving Minds, classes will be conducted by Junior Players' teaching artists.
- Free After-School Workshops Over 100 free after-school workshops in drama, dance, music, media and art at over 50 sites, including elementary, middle and high schools, recreation centers and public housing developments.

All Junior Players' workshop leaders exhibit professionalism, leadership and act as positive adult role models. Directors are professional artists with experience in theater, dance, fine arts, music, or arts education.
Many of Junior Players' artists also work as instructors for DISD, Young Audiences, Artreach and Dallas Children's Theater. They challenge their students' creative imaginations, and guide them in expanding language and verbal skills.
