Rosaura Cruz-Webb is a native of Dallas, TX. Rosaura attended the University of North Texas where she earned a BA in Theater Arts and Criminal Justice in 2006. After graduation from the University of North Texas, Rosaura joined the JP administrative team. Her acting credits include work with theater companies such as Shakespeare Dallas, Cara Mia Co., Water Tower Theater and Project X amongst several others. In addition to her onstage work, Rosaura is also a commercial, film and voiceover actor represented by The Campbell Agency. She was in Junior Players’ 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 Shakespeare productions as well as participating in Junior Players Advanced Acting Workshops while a student at Bryan Adams High School. She is the first person in her immediate family to attend and graduate from college. Rosaura discovered her passion for the stage and arts education as a student in the Junior Players High School Shakespeare program and participated in the JP Advanced Acting Workshops while a student at Bryan Adams High School. She later worked for JP as a TCA intern and dance and theater teaching artist, 2006 Program Assistant and 2008 Program Manager. During her tenure as Program Director, she was responsible for over 100 contracts with various agencies, planning and implementing 70 free after school programs, 60 free summer theater camps and the Festival of Plays. In addition, Rosaura created numerous program initiatives such as JP Alumni Council, co-produced PUP Fest with Kitchen Dog Theater, co-produced the High School Shakespeare Program and was instrumental in the development of the critically acclaimed In The Heights production in early January 2015. She is also a proud member of Cara Mia Theater Co. from 2013-current and served as the CMTC Vice President of the Board for 2015-2016. Rosaura also is a part of the 2016/2017 Mayor's Star Council Leadership class and serves on the Mayor's Star Council Development Committee.
