CARINE RICE

Sara is a North Texas native. She grew up in Richardson and received her youth theatre education through Repertory Company Theatre and Richardson High School. Sara has worked with youth in North Carolina, New York, Florida and Texas. Sara is a graduate of Catawba College with a BFA in Theatre Arts focusing  in performance. Highlights in her college career include a touring production of Brecht’s Life of Galileo presented in Albany,GA for ACTF and being selected for Eric Whitacre’s anchor choir for his production of Paradise Lost in Chicago. Sara also spent time working in London for a West End Talent Agency and participating in workshop’s at the Globe Theatre studying Shakespeare. In Florida, Sara worked with Arts Alive!Nassau to bring the arts back into schools, developing a theater curriculum that reached students ages 8-18, creating an inclusive program for traditional and non-traditional learners. Sara has returned to her roots to perform and teach at RCT. She found her passion for working with youth and adults through the YMCA. Sara’s mission is to bring joy and life to her community through the Arts.
